Thailand and FBI Join Hands to Tackle Transnational and Cyber Crimes

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul welcomed the organizing committee of the 26th FBI National Academy Associates Asia-Pacific Chapter Retraining Conference, which was held in Thailand.

The Prime Minister noted that current threats, particularly transnational and cybercrimes, are growing increasingly complex and borderless, driven by the rapid and widespread adoption of digital technology. As such, close cooperation among law enforcement agencies across all countries is essential to effectively addressing these challenges.

The Thai government remains committed to strengthening cooperation with the FBI and other international agencies, while continuing to enhance its technological capabilities, personnel development, and information-sharing mechanisms. These efforts ultimately aim to bolster Thailand's capacity to combat all forms of crime and improve the quality of life for the Thai people.

The 26th FBI National Academy Associates Asia-Pacific Chapter Retraining Conference was hosted in Thailand from June 7–10, 2026, bringing together international law enforcement partners to strengthen cooperation against transnational crime in the digital era.
