Mr. Banlank Waisiri, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, welcomed attendees alongside key sports officials and SAT executives.

The event was held on 17 January 2026 at the Convention Center of the Paralympic Association of Thailand, located at the 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The center aims to increase public awareness and participation, especially among Thai youth, and to highlight Thailand’s capability to host international para-sport events with an emphasis on sustainable sports development.

“The Sports Authority of Thailand, delegated by the government through the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, thanks Nakhon Ratchasima Province for its dedicated work as host. The Main Press Center (MPC) and Sub Press Centers (SPC) are crucial to operational support and integral in helping the Games achieve their objectives.” Dr. Kongsak said.

Mr. Banlank Waisiri, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, emphasized the province’s readiness to host the 13th ASEAN Para Games and its commitment to supporting the media. He noted that the Main Press Center for the 2025 Games will serve as a central hub for news, competition statistics, and services for media representatives from all 10 ASEAN member countries, ensuring fast and accurate reporting of updates and results.
