Thai agricultural products continue to be highly popular across ASEAN markets, generating over 100 billion baht in export revenue in the first quarter of 2025. The Total trade value reached 160.07 billion baht, resulting in a trade surplus of 40.92 billion baht for Thailand.
Top export items include raw sugar, refined sugar, bottled water, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as prepared foods. Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia are the primary markets.
In 2024, Thailand’s agricultural exports to ASEAN totaled 410.83 billion baht, an increase of 3.6%. Global agricultural exports reached 1.8 trillion baht, up 8.28%, reflecting Thailand’s ongoing ability to meet consumer demand.
The growth of Thailand’s agricultural sector in ASEAN highlights the nation’s strength in product quality and competitiveness, driving the country’s agricultural economy.
