The “Royal Blossom” Luxury Train Elevates Rail Tourism with a One-Day Trip Experience in Ayutthaya

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has introduced its premium tourism program, “SRT Royal Blossom,” aiming to transform rail travel into a luxurious and experience-driven journey. This initiative reflects SRT’s strategy to enhance the image of Thailand’s railway system by integrating comfort, cultural tourism, and high-quality services into a single travel package.

The special program “Royal Blossom @ Ayutthaya” is scheduled for April 25–26, 2026, offering a one-day round trip departing from Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong). Passengers will travel 
aboard a newly refurbished luxury train equipped with modern amenities, along with onboard food and beverage services throughout the journey to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience.

Upon arrival in Ayutthaya, travelers will visit key historical landmarks such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, followed by a river cruise along the Chao Phraya River with lunch served onboard. The package, priced at approximately 2,399 baht per person, includes transportation, meals, guided tours, and insurance. The program highlights SRT’s commitment to promoting domestic tourism while creating added value through premium rail travel experiences.
