Thailand Strengthens Women's Leadership and Opportunities Nationwide

Thailand continues to strengthen the role of women as a key force in national development. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has outlined the government's commitment to expanding opportunities for women across all sectors, emphasizing that women are central to Thailand's future and long-term prosperity.

Speaking at the W-Unity Project leadership event in Nonthaburi, attended by more than 2,000 women leaders from across the country, the Prime Minister highlighted three priorities: supporting women in balancing family and career aspirations, improving safety in urban communities, and strengthening protection against domestic violence. He stressed that empowering women goes hand in hand with advancing the nation as a whole.

The government is also enhancing public awareness of these initiatives through nationwide communication campaigns led by state media organizations. By engaging women leaders, entrepreneurs, community groups, and local networks across the country, Thailand aims to build a more inclusive society where women can contribute fully to economic growth, community development, and national leadership.
