"THAI T’REASURES": Elevating Thai Culture into Global Fashion Tourism

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is preparing to launch the "THAI T’REASURES by Amazing Thailand" project, aiming to elevate Thailand’s cultural capital—including Thai textiles, gems and jewelry, and handicrafts—into contemporary everyday fashion. Under the concept of "Good Things of Thailand" and a new image of "Cool Thai Fashion," the initiative seeks to reach the younger generation and position Thailand as a global “Fashion Tourism” destination.

Event Highlights

• 3-Day Fashion Show

The event presents Thai fashion through a variety of formats, including fashion shows, exhibitions, product showcases, and design works that connect fashion with the stories of tourist destinations and local communities. It provides a platform for next-generation designers to share their visions with a broader audience.

• "WEAR THE DESTINATION" Exhibition

An interactive display featuring touch screens that showcase 10 Thai textile routes, connecting local fabrics directly to tourist attractions and communities.

• TAT × THAI DESIGNER COLLABORATION

The collaboration highlights the TAT × Thai Designer initiative, featuring three sustainable prototype products, transforming waste materials into practical “Tourism Lifestyle Products.” This initiative blends local beliefs, art, culture, and wisdom with compelling stories to connect fashion with travel experiences.
