Thai PM Outlines Thailand’s Economic Vision at Forbes Global CEO Conference 2026

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul attended the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2026 in Singapore on 7 October 2026.

There, he joined a one-on-one discussion with Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media, on the topic, “In Conversation: Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand talks to Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Forbes Media.”

The premier emphasized Thailand’s response to geopolitical tensions and the changing global trade environment, while highlighting the need to strengthen energy security and expand clean energy options to support long-term growth and investment.

He also stressed Thailand’s role in the regional and global community, including its readiness to host the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings next week and its long-term goal of joining the OECD.

Furthermore, he highlighted Thailand’s opportunities and advantages in attracting and facilitating foreign investment across various industries. Thailand has strong potential as a manufacturing base while strengthening its connections with regional and global markets.

From energy security to the OECD, Thailand is building for the long term.  And next week, the world's finance leaders gather in Bangkok. Thailand is ready.
