TAT Steps Up Tourist Support Amid Heavy Rain, Activates Hotline, and Advises Extra Travel Time to Airports 

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has stepped up support for tourists who may be affected by heavy rainfall. It is closely monitoring travel conditions and providing timely information, advice, and assistance to help travelers.

TAT has activated its 1672 Tourist Hotline and is coordinating with Airports of Thailand Public Company (AOT) and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to monitor road conditions and share essential travel updates. Tourists scheduled to travel by air are advised to check their routes and allow extra time to reach the airport.

The coordination highlights TAT’s role in supporting tourists throughout their journeys, helping ensure convenience and confidence when weather conditions may affect travel plans. Timely and clear information enables travelers to make informed decisions and adjust their itineraries accordingly.
