Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 Returns with International Equestrian Competition

The international equestrian competition Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 will be held from 22–28 December 2025 at the equestrian grounds of the 2nd Cavalry Division, King’s Guard (Sanam Pao), Bangkok, bringing together athletes, officials, and equestrian enthusiasts from Thailand and abroad.

Organised under the gracious initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, President of the Policy Steering Committee, the event is staged under the theme “Building the Bond Between Horse & Rider: Discover the Joy of Horse Connection.” The competition aims to promote the development of equestrian sport in Thailand, enhance the skills and competitive experience of athletes, and strengthen collaboration among riders, trainers, grooms, and farriers.

Now in its 11th edition, Princess’s Cup Thailand has become a key international platform for Thai riders to gain exposure to global standards while fostering regional and international cooperation in equestrian sport. The event also supports Thailand’s ambition to position itself as a destination for sport tourism, contributing to economic activity and showcasing the country’s capability to host international sporting events.

Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 features two major competitions. The first is the FEI SEA Cup (CSIY-B), an international show jumping competition for young riders aged 16–21, conducted in a borrowed-horse format with participation from seven Southeast Asian FEI member countries. The second is the Princess’s Cup Thailand Royal Trophy, which includes competitions in Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, as well as Best Groom and Best Farrier awards.

In addition to sporting competitions, the event will offer lifestyle and community activities, including equestrian demonstrations and family-friendly attractions, enhancing public engagement with equestrian sport.

Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 is supported by both public and private sector partners and is open to the public free of charge, reinforcing its role as a platform that combines sport, culture, and tourism on an international stage. (soundbyte included, please state the name of the interviewee)
