Marketing Direction for Tourism: TAT Strategic Direction 2025 - Powering Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism Year with "Thai Charms - Must-Visit Cities"

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has unveiled its marketing direction for 2025 under the plan "TAT Strategic Direction 2025," focusing on stimulating tourism through the campaign "Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism Year." This initiative emphasizes "Thai Charms" and "Must-Visit Cities" to achieve a 7.5% growth in tourism revenue compared to 2024, aiming to attract both domestic and international tourists.


TAT's strategy encompasses promoting "Thai Charms" through five key activities: Must Taste (Thai cuisine), Must Try (Muay Thai), Must Buy (Thai fashion and crafts), Must Seek (new destinations), and Must See (Thai festivals). Additionally, the plan includes developing cities into major tourist destinations using city marketing strategies to ensure year-round tourism. TAT aims to enhance its international market presence in 23 potential markets globally and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Thailand-China relations with various special events.


TAT is optimistic that 2025 will mark a resurgence in Thai tourism, inviting travelers worldwide to experience the beauty and pride of Thailand, while fostering sustainable and valuable tourism experiences in the country.
