✨ Insights from the Thai Pavilion: King Rama IX’s Royal Wisdom and Sustainable Development

Did you know? The Sufficiency Economy Philosophy offers guidance not only for everyday life, but also for balanced development and preparedness for external changes.

“The Royal Legacy — Empowering People, Building Resilience” exhibition at the Thai Pavilion, part of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, showcases the development work and initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great through the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and his working principles.

🌱 Its core principles are moderation, reasonableness, and resilience, with knowledge and integrity guiding decisions and actions.

This approach recognizes that progress must be measured not only by economic growth, but also by stronger communities, care for the environment, and people’s ability to face future challenges.

🌏 The exhibition connects this development approach with Thailand’s host-country theme, “Thailand’s New Horizons: Empowering People, Building Resilience,” highlighting how preserving and building on the royal legacy can support lasting improvements in people’s quality of life.
