The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is intensifying inspections of the Thai-Chinese high-speed rail structures between Kaeng Khoi–Klang Dong and Pang Asok–Bandai Ma. The latest results reveal that all components are solid and intact, showing no cracks and fully capable of absorbing vibrations.
Engineers and experts from SRT, the Department of Rail Transport (DRT), and the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT) conducted thorough quality checks on steel at every point. The steel met international standards in:
✅ Tensile strength
✅ Flexibility
✅ Chemical composition
They emphasized that “every piece of steel undergoes a three-step quality inspection—before production, before use, and during construction—to ensure maximum safety.” This effort supports the “Transport for Thailand’s Opportunity” policy.
The Thai-Chinese high-speed rail project not only promises a faster future for travel but also undergoes rigorous quality control to guarantee the safety of all citizens.
