According to renowned travel magazine Travel + Leisure, Chiang Mai has been named the best city in Asia for 2025, based on a survey of over 180,000 travelers worldwide. The ranking considered factors such as attractions and landmarks, culture, food, friendliness, shopping, and overall value for money.
Chiang Mai claimed the top spot as the city that impressed travelers the most, while Bangkok followed closely behind at No. 3 — reaffirming Thailand’s enduring popularity as one of Asia’s top travel destinations.
