BMTA Issues Travel Advisory for Royal Funeral Procession

The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) advises bus passengers to plan their travel in advance on Saturday, June 13, 2026, due to the royal procession for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra.

​The procession will proceed from King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, to Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, starting at 3.30 p.m.

​BMTA bus routes operating along or near the procession route may experience delays or temporary adjustments.

​Key roads expected to be affected are Henri Dunant Road, Rama IV Road, Phaya Thai Road, Si Ayutthaya Road, Ratchadamnoen Nok Avenue, Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue, and Ratchadamnoen Nai Avenue.

​The public is encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow BMTA updates to ensure convenient travel and support the dignified conduct of the royal ceremony.
