Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy of Finland

On 27 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with H.E. Ms. Outi Holopainen, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy of Finland, on the occasion of the latter’s visit to Thailand in connection with Finland’s role as the co-host of the 2026 OSCE Asian Conference in Bangkok.

Both sides welcomed the close and dynamic relations between Thailand and Finland. They discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and potential, particularly in education, innovation, startups promotion, trade and investment, and food innovation. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments.
