The Emergency Flood Crisis Operations Center Continues Relief Efforts in Southern Thailand (27 Nov 2025)

The Emergency Flood Crisis Operations Center has continued its intensive efforts to assist people affected by severe flooding across the southern region. Operations throughout 27 November 2025 focused on emergency rescues, evacuations, and military medical support in the hardest-hit areas. The center provided the following information:

Relief Operations Statistics (27 November 2025)
• 275 emergency patients evacuated from affected areas;  
• 10,668 people evacuated to temporary shelters;
• 92,320 sets of ready-to-eat meals and drinking water distributed;
• 5,000 doses of influenza vaccine delivered.

Cumulative Statistics
• 453 emergency patients evacuated;
• 14,160 people relocated to safe shelters;
• 365 oxygen tanks delivered to hospitals;
• Support provided for establishing 250 field hospital beds;
• 175,980 meal sets distributed to affected residents.

Royal Thai Army
• Deployed medical teams and nurses to provide essential healthcare services, along with volunteer personnel working alongside government agencies, Volunteer 904 units, and civilian volunteers;
• Conducted rescue missions using motorized boats and ground teams with FTS units in Zones 3 and 4, involving 5 boat rescue teams and 4 ground rescue teams;
• Aerial rescue teams surveyed terrain and water levels, reporting significant water recession in most areas. Assisted two elderly dialysis patients in Soi Chok Saman, and 20 affected residents near Wat Khok Saman. Bedridden patients and children were transported to safety via boat and ground rescue units;
• Distributed 4,500 cooked meals from the Royal Mobile Kitchen (three meals per day);
• Continued evacuations and delivery of food and drinking water in flooded areas.

Royal Thai Navy
• Deployed S-76B helicopters to support medical evacuations to Songklanagarind Hospital, Hat Yai District, Songkhla;
• Used S-76B helicopters to deliver food and survival kits to stranded individuals at the Accident and Emergency Building of Hat Yai Hospital, who were unable to evacuate on their own.

Royal Thai Air Force
• Assisted in evacuating elderly residents in Thung Tam Sao Subdistrict, Hat Yai District;
• Supported the establishment of a field hospital at the multipurpose building of Hat Yai International Airport;
• Managed airspace operations, coordinating aircraft and drone usage for rescue and relief missions.

Royal Thai Police
• Conducted joint patrols with military units and local volunteers to protect lives and property.

Armed Forces Development Command
• Evacuated residents and distributed food and drinking water;
• Coordinated with all relevant agencies to accelerate support for people impacted by flooding and flash floods in Hat Yai District.

Upcoming Operations
The Royal Thai Army and the Royal Thai Navy have set to deploy amphibious vehicles to reach the areas with high floodwaters and difficult access in order to deliver relief supplies and evacuate residents.

As water levels begin to recede in some zones, “Big Cleaning Day” activities have commenced. Additionally, each of the four operational zones has been authorized to establish sub-command centers to enhance relief coordination as needed.

The Emergency Flood Crisis Operations Center reaffirms its commitment and efforts to support the people, ensuring that no one is left behind. All missions, including evacuation, emergency medical care, transport, coordination, and rescue operations, will continue at full capacity until the situation fully stabilizes and affected residents can safely return to their normal lives.
