Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office Supamas Isarabhakdi has urged the media to join hands in working in an integrated manner for their coverage of the Royal Cremation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Minister Supamas, who is the Chairperson of the Committee on Public Relations for the Royal Cremation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on 19 November 2025 chaired a meeting of media organizations to coordinate public communication for accurate news and information on the royal cremation, with the highest honors accorded to Her Majesty.
Participating in the meeting were executives of the Government Public Relations Department, digital media operators, online news providers, and representatives of the Confederation of Thai Journalists, the Thai Broadcast Journalists Association, the Thai Journalists Association, as well as such digital platforms as Facebook Thailand, TikTok Thailand, LINE TODAY, Wisesight, and AIS.
Minister Supamas called on all forms of media, especially the online media, to provide news and information on the royal cremation in easy-to-understand language and disseminate them widely to both Thai people and foreigners.
She assigned the Government Public Relations Department to serve as the information center for the royal cremation ceremony and to accelerate the improvements of its websites as major channels to provide news and information on this important event to various media organizations.
She also emphasized that public relations campaigns for the royal cremation must be launched through all networks, especially the online media and via the use of influencers, so that the public would have greater and quicker access to information on this significant event.
