Thailand (TAT) Drives Growth of Aviation-Driven Tourism While Elevating Its Image as the Aviation and Tourism Hub of the Asia-Pacific Region

TAT co-hosted the 69th Assembly of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) in Bangkok — a key platform bringing together regional airline leaders to discuss the future of 21st-century aviation.

This meeting plays an important role in reinforcing Thailand’s global aviation potential and promoting international air-route tourism. TAT is also using this opportunity to strengthen partnerships with leading airlines through:

✅ Supporting new international routes and increasing flight frequencies to Thailand

✅ Advancing Aviation Marketing Cooperation

✅ Building a global airline network to enhance Thailand’s competitiveness in the world tourism market

✅ Expanding collaborations on Sustainable Tourism in line with the region’s green aviation direction

This is also a strategic opportunity for TAT to build confidence among quality travelers and support Thailand’s tourism growth, especially in high-value markets. TAT will also host a One-day Trip for participants on 16 November 2025, including a visit to Wat Pho and a scenic Chao Phraya River cruise with a lunch program.

TAT believes this collaboration will strengthen Thailand’s pathway toward becoming an “Aviation Hub” while elevating the Thai tourism experience under “Amazing Thailand: Healing is the New Luxury.”
