Thailand Develops ‘Smart Undergarments’ To Improve Posture, Prevent Injuries and Boost Confidence for Seniors

Recently, the Metal and Materials Technology Center, in collaboration with NSTDA and Thaivaco, launched Rachel Everyday—a bodysuit integrating biomechanics, ergonomics, and electromyography principles. Designed to promote correct posture in seniors, it uses specially selected fabrics and tailored cuts to provide resistance and rebound force, helping wearers sit upright and confidently stand or sit, reducing risks of muscle and bone injuries.

Real-world tests show users adapt naturally, feeling more energetic and able to extend their daily activities longer.

The suit features breathable fabric, an easy-wear design, restroom access openings, and is machine washable like regular underwear. Available in 7 sizes for both men and women, it ensures all seniors stay comfortable throughout the day.

This innovation supports sustainable independent living for the elderly, with plans to launch by late 2025 on Thaivaco’s website and social media channels.
