TAT Welcomes Indian Wedding Planners to Phetchaburi and Hua Hin, Tapping into India’s Wedding and Celebration Market

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is stepping up efforts to attract India’s wedding and celebration travel market through the “Amazing Thailand Indian Wedding Planner FAM Trip & Trade Meet 2026,” bringing Indian wedding planners and organizers to Thailand to explore tourism products and services and connect with Thai businesses.

On 26 August 2026, at Baba Beach Club Hua Hin in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, Ms. Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific, welcomed the Indian delegation. She was joined by Ms. Duangjai Khumsa-ard, Director of the TAT Phetchaburi Office, Mr. Itsada Saowaros, Director of the TAT Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, and TAT staff.

During the event, the TAT Phetchaburi Office presented a product briefing highlighting the destination’s tourism offerings and potential to Indian wedding planners and organizers. Local hotels and resorts also participated in business networking, with a total of 11 operators from Phetchaburi joining the event.

The activity was organized by the TAT New Delhi Office, TAT Mumbai Office, and TAT’s ASEAN, South Asia and South Pacific Market Division to provide Indian wedding professionals with first-hand experience of Thailand’s tourism products, services, wedding venues, and activities. The program also featured business meetings with Thai tourism operators in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Bangkok, with the aim of expanding opportunities to attract more Indian wedding and celebration travelers to Thailand.
