HRH Princess Sirivannavari: From the Equestrian Arena to the Fashion Runway

From the Equestrian Arena to the Fashion Runway

Well recognized as a skilled equestrian rider in dressage events, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, Creative Director of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand, has presented her latest collection, featuring a combination of equestrian sport designs and the new era of the urban lifestyle. The collection reflects Her Royal Highness’s ingenuity in perfectly blending fashion art with the charms of equestrian sports.

To Her Royal Highness, equestrian sports and the art of dressage are “matters of challenge, speed, and decisiveness.” At the same time, dressage elegance leads to the inspiration for timeless design creations. For this reason, the SIRIVANNAVARI Autumn-Winter 2025/26 collection has been inspired by the equestrian style. Her Royal Highness has attentively and meticulously transferred details from major devices, such as bits, horseshoes, and bridles, to equestrian attire, leather, and jewelry in order to showcase couture craftsmanship.
.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari began horse riding at the age of nine and became serious about horse riding after training at the Royal Stable Unit in 2012. Although Her Royal Highness loves jumping, she decided to emphasize dressage, as suggested by the Royal Stable Unit, which cited safety and the sport’s charm and elegance as reasons. The Princess paid great attention to training and has set her intention to go as high in the event as possible, which means attaining the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special.
.
Apart from her role as an equestrian athlete, Her Royal Highness is determined to develop Thailand’s equestrian sports to international standards and enhance cooperation with relevant international organizations. The establishment of the Fürst Henry Arena in Bangkok as a standard indoor equestrian arena was intended to accommodate competitions and provide facilitation for interested persons. Her Royal Highness emphasizes not only the development of expertise for athletes but also the importance of personnel behind the scenes, who are key factors in the success of the team. Her Royal Highness initiated Best Groom and Best Farrier contests in the Princess's Cup Thailand in order to cover the care of horses on a full-cycle basis. The Princess also established the Royal Stable Unit Equine Medical and Rehabilitation Service Center, located in the area of the Royal Thai Army 2nd Cavalry Division, King's Guard. The center aims to elevate the treatment, rehabilitation, and care for horses owned by military units, the private sector, and the general public.
.
Most importantly, the equestrian event “Princess’s Cup Thailand” has been organized on a continual basis. The Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 is the 11th of its kind, and it is intended to develop horse-riding skills and experience in equestrian competitions for equestrian athletes. Interested persons may attend this event to learn more about horse riding, and they would probably change their belief that equestrian sports have little to do with them and are difficult or inaccessible. The event features many edutainment activities, such as a Dog Fun Run program, dog contests, exhibitions, and a vibrant flea market, with open spaces for social gatherings and new experiences.
.
The Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025, scheduled for 22-28 December, is organized under the theme “Building the Bond Between Horse & Rider. Discover the Joy of Horse Connection” at the Royal Stable Unit, Royal Thai Army 2nd Cavalry Division, King's Guard, Sanam Pao, Phahonyothin Road in Bangkok. Members of the public are invited to experience the profound horse-rider relationship in equestrian sports and learn about the inspiration and vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who plays an important role in driving Thailand’s equestrian sports internationally.
