The Khung Kraben Bay Royal Development Study Center is located on the eastern coast, along the Gulf of Thailand in Chanthaburi Province. It is considered another place with a natural ecosystem that includes both the sea and forest, one that can effectively absorb PM 2.5 dust. Here are some activities that should not be missed when visiting:

1. A bridge for studying nature and the mangrove forest in Khung Kraben Bay provides an opportunity for those interested in learning about the ecosystem through a 1,800-meter nature education trail. It takes 30-45 minutes to complete. This trail helps to create an understanding of the mangrove ecosystem, the source of the community's medicinal plants, and is also a source of natural food. Along the trail, visitors will find mangrove apple trees that grow well in sandy soil and that play a vital role in soil conservation, helping other plants to grow. Avicennia alba, besides being used as firewood, is also boiled with heartwood’s Senna garrettiana (wild cassia), which helps women to shed menstrual blood. The sapwood part is an antidote to snake venom, and there are other useful plants.
2. Kayaking activities are available every day from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Be sure to check with the staff before doing the activity, as there may be high tides or low tides at certain times.

There are three types of kayaks available for rent:

• Type 1: One person kayak, priced at 50 baht/hour;
• Type 2: One person kayak, priced at 100 baht/hour;
• Type 3: Two-person kayak, priced at 100 baht/hour.
