New 10-Lane Main Road Opens Ready to Tackle Traffic Volume Connecting Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani

The Chaiyaphruek Road in Nonthaburi Province has been successfully expanded to 10 lanes and is now officially open, poised to alleviate traffic for over 40,000 vehicles daily. 
This expansion significantly improves connectivity from Ratchaphruek-Kanchanaphisek Road all the way to Pathum Thani.


This project, costing over 902 million baht, included the construction of parallel roads, sidewalks, four canal-crossing bridges, drainage systems, and street lighting. It boosts traffic capacity, handling more than 40,000 vehicles per day.


Project Highlights:

Expanded to 10 traffic lanes, capable of accommodating over 40,000 vehicles/day.
Construction of four canal-crossing bridges, complete with integrated drainage and lighting systems.
Provides more convenient connections from Ratchaphruek-Kanchanaphisek Road to Pathum Thani.
Thailand supports a long-term national transportation infrastructure development strategy to sustainably address traffic congestion.
