Thailand Content Market 2026 Launched

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) have officially launched Thailand Content Market 2026 (TCM2026), the country's first global trade exhibition dedicated to content and creative businesses. Scheduled for July 20-22, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), the event promotes Bangkok as a leading center for content production and trade in Asia.

A key feature of TCM2026 is its scale, with more than 300 exhibitors and over 300 buyers from more than 30 countries expected to attend. Organizers estimate the business-matching platform will generate at least 2 billion baht in trade value. The exhibition will cover 12 sectors, including film, animation, gaming, and art toys, and will feature country pavilions from South Korea, China, Japan, and ASEAN members.

DITP Deputy Director-General Pornvich Sila-On said the content sector has become an important economic driver through intellectual property, exports, and job creation. CEA President and CEO Dr. Chakrit Pichyangkura said the event will also feature the Bangkok International Content Market (BICM2026), which will support project pitching and co-production opportunities for Thai creators.

The event will be open to the public free of charge, offering visitors access to industry showcases, emerging trends, exclusive merchandise, and licensed products. Organizers said TCM2026 is intended to establish a long-term commercial platform that supports the growth of Thailand's creative economy and expands its presence in global markets.
