An exclusive art exhibition “Silken Strokes" will take place on 12–14 September 2025 at Nim City Hall, Chiang Mai.

This extraordinary showcase presents contemporary paintings created on handwoven silk canvas, specially crafted by the Chiang Mai Women’s Correctional Institution and supported by the Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture (Chiang Mai). The silk serves as a unique canvas for contemporary artists from the Chiang Mai Art Museum to bring their imagination to life.

The exhibition highlights the fusion of traditional wisdom and modern creativity, offering a powerful new dimension of Thai silk that will inspire both art and fashion lovers. It also supports cultural Soft Power and tourism promotion in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Chiang Mai).
