Phanom Rung 15-Doorway Sunrise Phenomenon

Witness a rare natural spectacle as the morning sun aligns perfectly through all 15 doorways of Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buri Ram. Taking place from September 8 to 10, 2026, visitors can gather at the western courtyard behind the sanctuary starting at 05:30, with the sun expected to illuminate the corridor around 06:03.

Visibility depends on clear skies—heavy rain, thick fog, or low cloud cover will obscure the view.
This alignment occurs only four times per year: twice at sunrise (April 3–5 and September 8–10) and twice at sunset (March 5–7 and October 5–7).
