You are cordially invited to join the traditional candlelight procession using Takan (ancient Sukhothai clay lamps) to celebrate the upcoming Asalha Puja Day. This holy Buddhist occasion takes place at the historic Wat Mahathat, located within the stunning Sukhothai Historical Park.

Special Highlights for Visitors
5:00 PM: Registration opens for tourists to receive a free Takan clay lamp (limited to 1,200 lamps).
7:00 PM: The religious and candle-lighting ceremony begins.
