"Awakening Song Wat 2025" — A First (Truly!) for Awakening in Song Wat

Get ready for the debut of Awakening Song Wat 2025, lighting up Bangkok’s historic Song Wat neighborhood this August for the very first time.

This year’s theme, “Culturalight,” brings together light and digital art to connect the past, present, and future of Song Wat’s rich heritage — reflecting the way of life, spirit, and multicultural history of this long-standing trading street.

Over 12 immersive light installations will transform shops, alleys, and various locations throughout Song Wat into a vibrant canvas of stories and cultural expression.

The festival also features special bar collaborations within the district and mini live music performances by select artists on certain nights.

Awakening Song Wat 2025 runs from 8–17 August 2025, daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, supported by the Made in Song Wat collective.
