Amazing Thailand Su-Ngai Kolok Countdown 2026

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is set to host the Amazing Thailand Su-Ngai Kolok Countdown 2026, a year-end and New Year celebration for 2026, from 28–31 December 2025 at Sirindhorn Public Park, Su-ngai Kolok District, Narathiwat Province.

Held under the theme “Harmony Beyond Borders,” the event will feature vibrant light installations using Light Up and Mapping techniques, with illuminated decorations showcased throughout the venue.

Throughout the four-day celebration, visitors will enjoy live entertainment and stage performances by renowned artists:

28 December 2025: Season Five
29 December 2025: Jennifer Kim
30 December 2025: Palapol Pholkongseng and Por Arnup
31 December 2025 (New Year’s Eve): Indonesian band Repvblik, together with Thai artists Vid Hyper and Tum Warawut
The New Year’s Eve celebration will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display, creating joyful and memorable moments for both local residents and tourists from both sides of the border.

The event will also feature a Halal food zone and a community OTOP market with more than 50 booths, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs and community groups to showcase Narathiwat’s local cuisine, products, and distinctive cultural identity. In addition, visitors can participate in community-led workshops and traditional handicraft activities, such as embroidery, rattan weaving (Yan Liphao), Krajood mat weaving, and model Kolae boat making. These activities aim to offer hands-on learning experiences rooted in local wisdom, while also paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, in remembrance of her gracious initiatives in creating livelihoods for local communities.

TAT estimates that more than 20,000 visitors will attend the event over the four-day period. The festival is expected to stimulate local spending, extend visitor stays, generate economic circulation in the area, and enhance Narathiwat’s positive tourism image and confidence in safety at the regional level.
