Discover over 50 types of materials from 30 shops across 5 iconic material districts that have long been key hubs for fashion materials in Bangkok: Sampheng–Phahurat, Charoen Krung, Charoen Rat, Banthat Thong–Samyan, and Wat Son. All materials and shops can be searched via the Thai Material Database (TCDC Material Database), which includes maps and detailed information. The platform aims to spark inspiration for emerging designers while also enhancing the visibility and value of local shops that form the foundation of creative industries.

The Thai Material Database, or TCDC Material Database (www.tcdcmaterial.com), was developed by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA. It serves as a comprehensive material resource by compiling information on materials and suppliers—both manufacturers and distributors—from across Thailand’s key commercial zones. The database is free to use and allows creators and the general public to easily and quickly access information about materials in Thailand.
