Customs clearance can be performed in one of two streams. Import Entry with Green Line status is one of them. The process is as follows:
Importers contact the TG or BFS warehouse (Import Entry status is 0309). When the Customs Permit is printed, the Import Entry status will be changed to 0409.
In case goods need to be clarified according to customs law or tax privilege, the process is the following:
If customs-related organizations – such as the Food and Drug Administration, Department of Fisheries, Department of Livestock Development, or Department of Agriculture – request to inspect goods before they can be released, importers need to contact the TG or BFS warehouse and take goods to the inspector at the requested place;
The Import Entry number must be written or typed on the right side of related documents;
The documents must be submitted to the customs officer before picking up goods;
The Customs officer will register and check the documents, but the correctness and details shown in the Import Entry are not concerned;
Documents must be sent to post clearance audit within three days.

The GSTC criteria indicate what should be done, not how to do it or whether the goal has been achieved. This role is fulfilled by performance indicators, associated educational materials, and access to tools for implementation
