Thai Festival 2026 Wraps Up: 3.2 Million Visitors, 32 Countries, One Grand Finale in Paris

Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has closed this year's "Thai Festival" with a flourish! Flagship events were held at 12 locations across 45 cities in 32 countries and drew more than 3.2 million visitors worldwide.

A fresh look at "Thailand Today"
For over 30 years, the Thai Festival has been a bridge of friendship between Thailand and the world. This year, it took a major step forward, moving beyond a traditional cultural festival to showcase an open, modern Thailand full of creativity and innovation. The festival became a global space connecting people, ideas, and economic opportunities, helping Thai entrepreneurs present their products, services, and innovations to the world through active cultural and economic diplomacy.

Teamwork behind the success
Led by the Department of Information, the festival adopted a unified brand and a single standard worldwide. It brought together government agencies, the private sector, and local communities, including bodies for trade promotion, tourism, sports, culture, creative economy, innovation, and Thai arts and crafts.

The grand finale: Tout à Fait Thaï 2026, Paris
The journey ended in the City of Art on 3-4 October 2026, with a celebration of the Thai way of life: eat, live, travel, play. Visitors enjoyed contemporary culture, fashion, music, art, and food. The festival welcomed 18,571 visitors, including French, Thai, and international guests, and was held as part of the celebrations marking the 170th anniversary of Thailand-France diplomatic relations.

Friendship starts with people
Director-General of the Department of Information and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Jaithai Upakarnitikaset said people-to-people ties are the most important foundation of international relations. When Thai and French people meet, enjoy performances, taste food, and share cultures, it builds understanding that can grow into new cooperation and partnerships.

The Paris festival is another step toward strengthening ties and economic opportunities between the two countries for years to come.
