TAT Partners with Norse Atlantic Airways to Boost UK Winter Travel to Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will expand its long-haul tourism marketing in late 2026 by partnering with Norse Atlantic Airways to promote winter travel bookings from the United Kingdom to Thailand.

TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool stated that the TAT London Office is executing its Airline Focus strategy through joint advertising with Norse Atlantic Airways, promoting direct flights from London to Bangkok and Phuket, and from Manchester to Bangkok.

The online campaign will run from September to November 2026, targeting the winter booking period to boost travel demand from late 2026 through early 2027.
Activities include joint promotions and a social media competition offering round-trip tickets to Thailand. The campaign has generated over 22,000 engagements and more than one million views, demonstrating strong audience interest.

For the 2026–2027 winter season, Norse Atlantic Airways will expand its UK–Thailand services with a new direct route between London Gatwick and Phuket, operating three flights weekly from December 2026 to mid-April 2027.

The existing London Gatwick–Bangkok route will operate three weekly flights from October, increasing to four weekly flights from December 2026 to mid-April 2027. The Manchester–Bangkok route is also scheduled to operate four weekly flights during the winter season, further strengthening direct connections between northern England and Thailand.

The campaign aims to increase Thailand's profile in the UK market, encourage winter holiday bookings, and support ongoing growth in long-haul visitor arrivals.
