Thailand–Hong Kong Innovation Pact Boosts Startup Growth Through TSP Scale X Landing Programme

Thailand Science Park (TSP), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (HKCMCL), a leading digital technology hub focused on nurturing startups and tech entrepreneurs in Digital Tech, AI, FinTech, and Smart City solutions. The partnership aims to strengthen innovation collaboration and unlock new business opportunities between Thailand and Hong Kong.

The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of NSTDA, and Eric Chan, Chief Public Mission Officer of Cyberport, with Simon Chan and Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, Executive Vice President of NSTDA and Director of Thailand Science Park, serving as witnesses.

Radio Thailand World Service had the opportunity to attend the event and conduct an exclusive interview with Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, who highlighted that TSP is set to expand this collaboration through the “TSP Scale X Landing Programme.” She emphasized that the initiative will help reduce market entry costs and risks for international startups, while supporting Thai startups in meeting global standards. The programme is expected to accelerate the global market entry of Thai tech products, with applications opening in early July this year.
