Phayao Walk and Wonder is a creative district activation event that opens up the Kwan Phayao area to the public. The event brings together local communities, creatives, artists, entrepreneurs, and public and private organizations to build a joyful and imaginative cultural space.

This event invites you to walk, explore, and fall in love with Phayao through a range of activities, including:

• Street Art: Outdoor art installations expressing the identity of Phayao through collaborations between artists and the local community.
• Art Exhibitions and Workshops: At Kwan’ner Art Space, emerging and established artists come together under the theme “River Meet in Kwan(ner)” with workshops on scents and wax painting.
• Creative Market: At Ratchawong Tree Lovers Market, discover crafts, local products, and community-led activities.
• Homemade Happiness by Nithan Ban Tonmai: A cozy creative space offering watercolor painting, ceramics, crochet, beaded bracelet making, and community cooking.
• Workshops by HIPSTER STEAK: Learn to make traditional Thai snacks and herbal inhalers inspired by the district’s scent.
• PYOTASTE by baanbaann: Taste and learn about local ingredients and Phayao’s culinary culture, in collaboration with The Joint Carpentry and I Amm Doi Coffee Farm.
• Wine and Cocktail Tasting at Ban Boran: Enjoy local wine and cocktails made from Phayao ingredients, accompanied by live music from local musicians.
  
  

This event is part of the Creative Economy Districts Network Project in Phayao and Phichit Provinces. It is organized by a coalition of creative district networks, local businesses, communities, government agencies, and educational institutions in Phayao, in collaboration with the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), Chiang Mai.
