MOU Launched for “Muaythai for All” Bringing the Art of Muay Thai to Schools Nationwide

The “Muaythai for All” initiative is now underway in 60 pilot schools across Thailand, aiming to introduce the traditional art of Muay Thai to young people. The program offers Muay Thai as an elective subject, with certified instructors teaching students through a structured curriculum.

The course spans 25 days and covers essential Muay Thai techniques, focusing on building understanding, appreciation, and pride in this cultural martial art. The program also opens pathways to future careers—not just as fighters, but also as trainers, referees, gym managers, promoters, and in related businesses like Muay Thai equipment. No prior experience is required. Enrollment is open throughout 2025, with seven training sessions scheduled from March to September.

This project is a key step in elevating Muay Thai to international standards by integrating it into the national education system and making it accessible to youth across the country. The curriculum balances theory and practice, covering fundamental techniques, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship—aligning with Thailand’s vision to establish Muay Thai as a global soft power.
